Build and Design

It is clear that from 15-inch form factor to 14-inch form factor, Vivobook has reduced some weight. Weight below 2 kilograms (1.7 kg), this 15.6 inch everyday laptop is slightly lighter than most of its competition. Some of the weight loss reasons are due to small footprint, but it is also due to lighter chassis.

The display LED is made of a relatively thick sheet of aluminum and the base of the machine is all plastic. Although it makes light but is highly susceptible to noticeable flex. While there are some flexs in the display, this keyboard is not as flex seen on the deck, which hamper the typing experience.

The 15.6-inch display provides 1080p resolution, which is an IPS panel and offers good viewing angles and feels good its very slim display body yes display is good.

Asus VivoBook S510UN pack in a great keyboard, it looks more premium with white backlight. In fact, the keyboard layout and feel is absolutely right as the previous generation was found on Apple MacBook Air. Strong, single-piece keyboard building with 1.4 mm key travel provides ergonomic and comfortable typing experience.

But with this keyboard everything is not good. First of all, there is no LED notification on the Caps Lock button, which is definitely absurd. Second, I really want to have a full-sized keyboard with numpad. There is ample space between the keys, which I feel that there is a lot of waste in space.

Touchpad has come a long way on Windows devices, thanks to Precision Drivers on Windows 10. Fortunately, Asus Vivobook S15 uses this technique, allowing an advanced touchpad experience. There is decent structure for touchpad, and multi-finger support is also there.
In addition, there is a fingerprint sensor in the upper-right corner of the touchpad, which uses the Windows hello feature. And unlike other systems which only include hardware for it, one really good on the Vivobook S15

Excellent performance Asus VivoBook S15 in this price range .The display of the Asus VivoBook S15 is extraordinary. And when I say extraordinary, I mean. A Portable Laptop Pack with 16 GHz RAM and an MX 150 Discrete GPU for Advanced Graphics Performance in a Combo of the latest 8th Gen Intel CPU. I can throw almost anything on this laptop, and it will perform well without breaking sweat. Includes onboard in SSD, and is helpful in super-fast performance of the device.
